Eucalyptus - Botanical Tea Bags
Towering, fragrant Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus) is an evergreen tree native to Australia. The long leaves have glands that are filled with perfumed oil. Eucalyptus trees grow extremely rapidly, making them a valuable source of wood and sought-after essential oil. There are over 700 species of Eucalyptus trees and shrubs.
Eucalyptus is highly-regarded for its soothing, spa-like scent. However, the leaves can also be steeped into delicious and functional tea. The leaves are commonly used in cold and flu blends, as they help to soothe irritated airways. Eucalyptol is responsible for the tingly, cooling flavor that is synonymous with Eucalyptus products and is also common in natural insecticides. The leaves are also packed with antioxidants making this tea an excellent addition to your cold and flu arsenal.
