What's Inside?

Calendula, often referred to as common marigold, is a stunning gold flower blossom that is harvested throughout Europe and Asia, and also grows domestically in the United States. The petals of these flowers are edible, and are often seen as a beautiful addition to salads. The flavor of these petals can sometimes be bitter, but have an overall sweet fragrance.

Common marigolds are a staple in many gardens, due to their bright color and hardy blooms but have also been historically used to make vibrant yellow dye.

Calendula contains carotenoids and flavanoids, beneficial antioxidants that can help to prevent disease and boost immunity. The World Health Organization recognizes Calendula for its healthful properties, which is why it is commonly found in skincare products and other anti-inflammatory solutions (WHO monographs on selected medicinal plants. - Vol. 2 2002).
